Jürgen Schulz - Aktfotografie

Born in 1972, nude photographer Jürgen Schulz from Meissen, Germany, has been a passionate photographer since childhood and developed his first pictures in his home laboratory. Since the beginning of the 1990s he has been working intensively with sensual photography. His first nude shoot in 1989 awakened his passion for this genre. Jürgen started his photographic career in analog, but switched to digital photography after the turn of the millennium. His first project under the name "Akt-und-Erotikdesign Dresden", which was renamed to "LR-Production" in 2014, was also created during this time.

Although professional and personal changes led him to close his business, Jürgen never lost sight of photography. He bought his first digital SLR camera in 2007 and has been expanding his equipment ever since. Today he has a complete studio with semi-professional equipment, although he still prefers to shoot outdoors or in deserted places.

He is particularly fond of lost places - abandoned and dilapidated buildings and factory halls, where he stages the exciting contrast between the old, often rigid structures and the lithe bodies of his models. He is equally fascinated by nature shoots, where he captures the harmony and aesthetics of the naked human body in an unspoiled environment. For Jürgen, man and nature are not in competition with each other, but complement each other to form a magnificent whole.

In his "Citynudes" series, the flexible nude photographer focuses on urban landscapes. Here, naked skin meets bare steel and hard stone. Yet it is not only in the city, but in all of his locations, that contrasts exert a magical attraction on Jürgen. Soft curves next to sharp edges, motifs flooded with light in front of dark shadows, subtle skin tones in colorful rooms - there are often contrasting elements in his diverse images. He loves to play with these contrasts and combine them in wonderful ways.
