Michel Tronchetti

A self-taught photographer, he places great emphasis not only on mastering the technique, but also on capturing the essence of the moment - the feeling that is conveyed in the image. His work is characterised by a high degree of sensibility and the capture of moods, which he effectively emphasises through the deliberate use of natural light and minimalist technique.

Michel's work focuses mainly on black and white portraits, which are characterised by their simplicity and expressiveness. He prefers to work with natural light and an 85mm lens, which allows him to create intimate and touching images. It is this reduction to the essential and the use of black and white that expands his creative scope and brings out the authentic emotions of his models.

A central element of Michel's approach is the mutual trust between him and the people he photographs. Supported by his wife, who accompanies him on shoots, Michel creates a relaxed yet respectful atmosphere in which his subjects can open up and reveal their unique beauty. Michel believes that this relationship is the basis for capturing the true essence and beauty of a person in a photograph.

Michel deliberately keeps post-processing minimalist. He sticks to the essentials to preserve the naturalness and authenticity of the images. Despite his young career as a professional photographer, Michel already has a clear artistic vision and plans to develop his work through various projects, especially in the field of street photography. Since 2024, he has also dedicated himself to self-publishing magazines in order to make his work accessible to a wider audience in the highest quality.
